Painter 9,This is what happens when you "stay the course". What leads me to this conclusion? When you say to me, "maybe you ought to finish this. You know? Clean it up?" it's too likely I will. Tell me to paint over something, I probably will. I can't believe this painting used to look like this!
My inspiration for this and other painting "theory": Kawa Yoo. Something about the painting under the painting is very intriguing. I'm fascinated with burying a picture with a picture. And then burying that picture with another picture.
